Media Producer
Andy B Coon is a skilled media professional with over two decades of experience in video production and storytelling. Originally from Montclair, New Jersey, Andy moved to Greensboro, North Carolina to attend the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he studied broadcast and cinema. It was during his time in college that Andy began producing an award winning documentary about the 1979 Greensboro Massacre, named, "Greensboro's Child," which he completed seven years after graduation.
Andy's passion for storytelling continued to grow after completing his documentary, leading him to work in various roles within the corporate and nonprofit sectors. At a small business, Andy honed his skills as a video editor and started FCproducer.com, a blog that provided tutorials and product reviews for Final Cut Pro. He then moved to the nonprofit sector, where he taught underprivileged individuals how to shoot and produce documentaries and short videos.
In 2011, Andy joined BenefitFocus in Charleston, South Carolina as part of a team of four editors and two videographers. There, he helped build a media department that supported the company's vision and growth. Over the course of seven years, Andy worked with talented individuals to create compelling content that helped the company succeed.
In 2018, Andy moved to Santa Barbara, California to work with a medical equipment company before ultimately relocating to San Jose, California for a position with another company. With his diverse experience and passion for storytelling, Andy continues to create emotionally impactful content that resonates with audiences.
